If the beta program is discontinued and we do not proceed to a full launch, we will retain your data for up to 30 days after the beta ends so you can request an export or ask questions, after which it will be permanently deleted unless we are required to retain it for legal reasons.

8. FetchBuddy as a Data Processor
FetchBuddy is a business-to-business platform. When you use FetchBuddy to manage information about your clients, their dogs, or other third parties, you are the data controller for that information. FetchBuddy acts as a data processor on your behalf under UK GDPR (Article 28).
As a data processor, FetchBuddy will:
- Only process client data on your documented instructions
- Keep client data confidential
- Assist you in responding to data subject rights requests from your clients
- Delete or return client data at the end of the service relationship, at your request
- Notify you without undue delay in the event of a personal data breach affecting your clients' data
You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to collect and share your clients' data with FetchBuddy, and for providing appropriate privacy information to your clients.
